Utilities

Harju Elekter supplies transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, protection equipment, SCADA systems, and other equipment for substations up to 170 kV. We take responsibility for the complete project, including civil engineering, civil work, erection, installation and commissioning.

The majority of our deliveries to large and small utilities comprise customized compact substations, supplied on a one-off basis or within framework agreements.

With the increase of renewable energy sources, utilities are in the market for energy storage solutions. Harju Elekter handles projects of this type on a stand-alone basis or as part of larger substations.

We deliver solutions for electric power distribution in a variety of executions and sizes under our own management. Experience has shown us that structure and order, combined with clear project reviews and close customer contact, are the path to a successful project. We combine hands-on experience and expertise, own products, plus products and components from our selected cooperation partners into a solution that we deliver to the site.

A typical project includes several phases, such as time scheduling, preparation (own/sourced products), design, resource planning, purchasing, production and testing. At the site we handle civil works, erection, installation, and commissioning, should this be requested.
