Critical operations always need power
Critical operations, such as hospitals or public buildings with elevators and various control rooms, need a continuous, secure power supply. Harju Elekter supplies technical shelters, switchgear and control cabinets for reserve power installations.
One of our projects is a reserve power installation at Visby Hospital, Visby:
The reserve power system at Visby Hospital on the Swedish island of Gotland was out of date and unable to supply the hospital with power in the event of a power cut. In 2019 Harju Elekter installed a new reserve system that has the capacity to supply electricity to the entire hospital if a short or prolonged power outage occurs.
