The new facility will be owned by Harju Elekter and will house both a new factory and offices, on two floors. At the ceremony, someone wanted to know: &#8220;Why here, in V\u00e4ster\u00e5s?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Mikael Schwartz Jonsson, CEO of Harju Elekter Sweden, answered: \u201cThere are many reasons, but the main one is that V\u00e4ster\u00e5s has become a hub for electrification. There is a lot of talent and expertise to draw from here and that makes this location quite valuable, even though it may involve working in close proximity with competitors. I believe that healthy competition can drive us to perform even better.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony was attended by Jesper Brandberg, chairman of the real estate committee in V\u00e4ster\u00e5s, Tiit Atso, CEO of the Harju Elekter Group, Mikael Schwartz Jonsson, CEO of Harju Elekter Sweden and Fredrik Jagersj\u00f6 Rosell from the construction company Logistic Contractor.<\/p>\n<p>Recruitment of additional employees for the scale-up in V\u00e4ster\u00e5s will begin in early 2022. There will be open positions within construction, project management and assembly.
